Good idea? Bad idea?

Going through the boxes for my i5/OS V5R4 upgrade, I came across the iSeries Access V5R4 package. The iSeries Access instructions say that it can be installed on both i5/OS V5R3 and V5R4.
Well, I got the bright idea that I would spread the total upgrade over multiple days by going ahead and installing iSeries Access V5R4 on the current i5/OS V5R3. 

Good idea or bad idea?
