Hi,

Did you specify commit for the update files in the F-Specs?
If yes, remove it.

If not try the following:
1. Define an indicator (i.e.NewInd) in your D-Specs and initialize it with
*OFF
2. Add Commit(NewInd) to the F-Specs

Betreff: RE: Error Using SQL Stuff

Sorry I forgot to mention it is just a plain RPGLE program not an SQLRPGLE.
What I found and only goes to reason is when the file is opened as input
only the error does not occur but if it is opened as update then bammmmmm.
The CPF4328 occurs.

we are on V5R3 and this file is a legacy one. I was just seeing what would
and could happen if we were to adopt using SQL for creating tables.

Thanks
