You say WebSphere maintenance is handled by Passport Advantage. Which WebSphere product? Are you talking WebSphere App Server or WebSphere Development Studio Client? And your original post was about WebSphere Host Appl Transformation Service. All along the way I find the use of WebSphere in the name to be awfully confusing to customers. Just saying WebSphere does not identify any product - it is a kind of umbrella term used for everything from IBM these days.

Hi Vern. Seems to me that last time I had to do this
dance-- going from 5.x to 6.0 with WebSphere-- I was able
to request the media set from PPA. The convoluted
reasoning I got was that since WebSphere maintenance had
to come thru PPA (a "gift" of Express packaging?), that is
where the WDSc updating also came from. The physical
package came from Ireland, as I recall. Anyway, the
point I was trying to make was the part about physical
media not being available on the day of electronic
delivery, but delayed by several days.

Media is available approximately 7-21 business days
after the
 electronic downloads have been posted.
