Paul,
It may be trivial. I get the same CPF everyday when the HMC moves the tape IOA
and IOP between LPARs:

I've been getting it daily for about six months on two partitions. Both IBM
and the contractor who configured our LPARs didn't get at all concerned about
it.

I'm not saying that you should ignore it, just that it may be popping up
unnecessarily

I installed this cumulative package over the weekend for a client. About an
hour or so after the final reboot, the system started throwing the message
below:

Message ID . . . . . . : CPPEA02 Severity . . . . . . . : 99

Message type . . . . . : Information

Date sent . . . . . . : 02/20/07 Time sent . . . . . . : 08:29:19

Message . . . . : *Attention* Contact your hardware service provider now.

Cause . . . . . : Internal analysis of an exception indicates that
hardware

  service is required now.

Recovery . . . : Contact your hardware service provider and provide the

following list of possible failing items:

      39J0149

      ANYBRDG

The 39J code points to a raid enablement card problem, but the service guy
who checked out the system swears there is no hardware problem. I downloaded
and installed MF41048 as suggested by WRKPRB, but the message keeps popping
up every couple of hours. Has anybody seen this?
