Perhaps it was the onboard processor of using a Windows IXS card to handle just file serving. Would that be like having a dedicated IOP just for NetServer? Bus thingy? I don't think so. I've heard that iSCSI can even be a better performer than IXS for this kind of file serving.Rob Berendt
