I think in your case Alan that putting QTEMP at the bottom of you list
is almost what your group has to do because of the above situation.  In
my opinion a temp file should never be the same as a production file,
but you have what you have.  I would agree with everyone else that 99%
of the time QTEMP is near the top (sometimes even in the System library
list) and your situation would be in that 1%.
