Onderwerp: Response slow linking to iSeries.

Hello All,

Further to our earlier problems passing numerics to the iSeries from the web,
that we have now solved by passing alphas and converting, we are now having
trouble with response times. We retrieve the data from the iSeries to display
on the web for the clients to select and pass the selection back to the iSeries
for processing. To receive 3 records from the iSeries takes between 30-45
seconds. A full page takes well over 2 minutes if it doesn't time out in the
process.

We have looked in the archives but can't find anything to help, can anyone
point us at the right area to look, or have any ideas on what we can do to
speed things up?

TIA

Steve
