Are these DRDA connections? JDBC connections? Where are you setting the max
connections? Do you notice any 'zombie' connections where there's not an
active process associated with the connection?

We have been experiencing problems where our unix servers are maxing out
the DB connections to iseries. The max connections is set at 50, which has
been operating successfully, but on friday and today we are experiencing
the problem with no available connections.

Any ideas of why this happens sporadically?

Thanks,
