I usually use MyTimeStamp = %DATE + %TIME and that gives me the current
time (doesn't get the milliseconds though)

MyTimeStamp is defined as type Z

Subject: %timestamp ??

I am trying to write records to a file and show a unique timestamp
everytime the update key is hit. Instead of getting the most recent
timestamp I am getting one timestamp, I presume the job timestamp.
Shouldn't I be able to get the unique/current/real-time timestamp?

d mytime z
c time mytime
or
c eval mytime=%timestamp()

neither of these are working as I expect, am I mistaken?

Thanks
