Vern, I checked SAVOBJ but since a value is needed for the object saving all the PF-SRC's isn't possible (some start w/letters other than Q). If I could use *none for the object then enter the file/members that'd work, or like Rob said an attribute field would be perfect. I guess what I'll do is copy all PF-SRC's to another lib then savlib to a savf. On a weekly basis I have to replicate the source to our offsite DR box. The savf's are created on our test box (where our source is), so I'll create the savf's then ftp them to my prod box then they'll get replicated offsite. You can specify a generic file name or *ALL and limit object type to *FILE - but cannot filter by object attribute. If all source files start with Q and nothing else does, you are good to go. Otherwise you would need to something like list all the objects to an outfile, then build the SAVOBJ command from those that are PF-SRC - up to 300 objects - or there is a QSRSAVO API that does not have the 300-object limit. Hi, I want to save all PF-SRC files from a single library to a single savf. Is
this possible using an OS400 save command? If not, does anyone have any code
to
accomplish this? Thanks for any info ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL. Most comprehensive set of free safety and security tools, free access to millions of high-quality videos from across the web,
