Ok. If I have a physical file that is outputted from a AS/400 query, can I copy that using CPYTOIMPF command?
A physical file is a physical file. Files created by Query/400 are externally described just as if they had been created using DDS or SQL. So there's no reason this wouldn't work. People here connect to such files all day long using ODBC, which is not the same thing but, again, points up the fact that a file is a file.
