Found my problem. The documentation says the text in the file will be
added to the text in the message field but the only way I could get it
to work was to not have anything in the message field and then the text
in the file was sent.

Something I had not thought of and it did not. But got the same even
after adding it. I also tried moving the file into the PSF400 directory
where QSPLJOB creates the PDF file and it still did not work

Just a thought:

Does the profile QSPLJOB have *RWX authority
to the /Text directory in the IFS?

Subject: WRKPDFMAPE

I am using Infoprint server to convert a spool file to a PDF
and e-mail
as an attachment. I want to include a message in the body of
the e-mail
that is longer than the 255 character max on "Message text"
field on the
PDF map entry. The PDF map entry has a "E-mail body" field where the
documentation says to enter the path to an object in the IFS that
will
be included in the e-mail body. I have a file in the root of the IFS
named test.txt in a folder named Text so I specified
/Text/test.txt but
nothing is included in the e-mail body. Anyone know what I might be
doing wrong?
