Well, I can't reveal plans, but write-XML isn't quite as difficult to do
with ordinary RPG coding as read-XML is, so it probably won't happen
right away.  RPG's read-XML support is better than COBOL's, if that's
any consolation.  COBOL just has the equivalent of XML-SAX.
