You can use it with or without the corresponding textbook(available here:http://www.iseriesnetwork.com/str/books/Uniquebook2.cfm?NextBook=180)from which it was created. It's like taking an on-line course, withquizzes and exercises ... The student needs access to an AS/400 oriSeries to can work on the suggested programming exercises andassignments, etc.
