Query date problem w/ showing too much -- MIDRANGE-L

With the Query/400, I have a date that I made in the program. The actual
data was YY MM DD, 3 sep. fields. I need these 3 fields to sort on in the
query, but I do not want to display them. I want to display the MMDDYY
field I created in the RPG program.
