To hide (or exclude as the help text calls it) use the X command in the
number area on the left side of the editor.

X will exclude 1 (current line)

XX on start line
line 2 with stuff
line 3 with stuff
XX on end line  - will exclude all lines between start and end inclusive

Xn (where n = a number) will exclude n number of lines

SF(n) will show the first(n) lines from the exluded set
SL(n) will show the last(n) lines from the exluded set

There will be a [+] sign that will let you expand the excluded set of lines,
the a [-] to exclude them again.
