Friday there was a post about some defective V5R3 disk unit PTFs (MF34369,
MF38536, & MF38576). The REASON DEFECTIVE (dated 5/16) states: "The Work
with disk unit screens under Dedicated Service Tool (DST) and System Service
Tool (SST) are in English, not the installed National Language Version
(NLV). Under some conditions, the Work with disk unit screens become
unusable for all languages." I had just permanently applied all PTFs on
5/15 (the day before!) in preparation for V5R4 upgrade.

Questions:

1) All 3 of those PTFs show Superseded by MF39123. Does that mean I am OK?
Or still have a problem? (The Defective PTF guide says that MF39611 is the
fixing PTF, which I do not have. Tried to order it, says not available.)

2) Even if I still have a problem, based on what the Reason Defective says,
and the fact I will be upgrading to V5R4 (this weekend or next), do I still
need to slip the LIC?

Thanks.
