IGEL's products were a great replacement of the IBM netstations for us.
They are VERY configurable and easy to secure based on profiles. There is
a great remote management tool for them also.

If you have need of a contact for more information, let me know.

5250 is what we need. CLI, Bosanova, etc, etc.

My last experience with thin clients was the IBM box,
which was a giant disaster.(NS 1000 several years ago)

They do not want any "surfing" or "email".

I have tried to explain to them that it can be eliminated,
but they are very set on the "no pc" theory.

Seems as though one of the owners read a nasty little article
on how much time and money are wasted on surfing and email
at work.......

I have no preference, and they really do have a point.

It's about a wash on prices between a pc and a thin client
from what I have seen so far.
