At v5r3, IBM changed (or added?) the system value QSAVACCPTH to be
1=save.

All of the SAVxxx commands defaults were changed to SAVACCPTH(*SYSVAL).

This means by default, you'll always be saving access paths.  It takes a
little more time and a little more tape.  But it can take a considerably
longer amount of time to rebuild the access paths in a recovery
situation.  (I'm talking days here.)

So for example, if you do a save menu option 21 - save entire system,
the access paths are saved now whereas they weren't before.
