It's there if you press F10. Don't use QDLS. That's the old DOS 8.3 file
system. I'd use either QOpenSys or another folder in the /root file
system. You can make your own folder by doing a MD '/MyNewFolder'. Then
direct your CPYTOIMPF to that.


There really isn't a STMFCODPAG, we have :

FROMFILE,TOFILE,TOSTMF,MBROPT,TOCCSID,RCDDLM,DTAFMT,STRDLM,FLDDLM,NULLIND,DECPNT,DATFMTand TIMFMT

Anne,

Try pressing F9 when you have CPYTOIMPF prompted.  Then press F11 to see
the STMFCODPAG parameter.

Have you tried FTP'ing the file from the AS400 to your PC?

Can you use FTP in a CLP with variables ? I want to use a file with allfilenames and libraries in it, which I can read and pass through asparameters to a CL.

If you type the following in the address bar of windows explorer do you
get anything? (SXXXXXXX is the name of your iSeries or the serial
number).
\\SXXXXXXX\QDLS
If not you might need to set up a share Ops Nav.

I found our AS400 doing \\, but no QDLS or the directory I created. Thereis a QCA400 and a QIBM in it.

I've tried the CPYTOIMPF, however the keyword STMFCODPAG doesn't exist

this command. The copy worked without it.
Now I have to find the file in a PC environment, I've scanned the
network
through explorer, but I can't find QDLS, is an AS400 displayed under
another name ?
Mailing is not an option, there are millions of records to transfer.
