IBM is trying to automate the pre-req PTF apply process and it still has a few bugs. I've put this package on 4 boxes. 3 were updates to V5R3 and once as part of the V5R3 upgrade from V5R1 and I had problems twice. Once it screwed the LIC on the "B" side to the point it wouldn't IPL from "B" on an V5R3 update and the other was were 1 of the 3 pre-reqs did not go down correctly after an upgrade.
