RE: OS/400 i5/OS

When I searched for my current job I used both AS400 and Iseries in my
searches.  I found more hits with AS400 though...

One thing I discovered when doing the research for the jobs 
article...people are still posting the vast majority of thier help
wanted ads
as jobs on a AS/400.  Which is why I tell people to use BOTH AS400 and 
iSeries when doing a job search.

It's not just us biggots, it's the industry.  Gee, ya think Microsoft 
changes the name of their O/S just because they come out with a new 
release?  We've had S/36, S/34, S/38, AS/400, iSeries, eServer, i5....
And 
all the time M$ has just had WINDOWS...   Regardless of what you think
of the
quality of their product, it DOES have what we lack and need - POSITIVE 
NAME RECOGNITION
