Are you simply trying to have the files unzip to the current directory? Or are you trying to omit subdirectories, even if they match your wildcard?

For the former, simply run the JAR utility from the directory that the files are in.

For the latter, specify -D on the AJAR command.

If you're trying to "flatten" a directory tree, I don't think it's possible to do that. You'll have to flatten it by copying the files to a new "flattened" location, and then zip up THAT directory.

Good luck

apologies if you consider this too off-forum. I send some files off i5 as
zip files using the qshell jar utility. I need to send a zip file that
contains no path information for the zipped file. To this end I thought
that the qshell ajar utility with parameter -D or --nodirs might be the
answer. However when I open the file using WinZip I still see a path. Any
thoughts?
