Actually, a GB should be 1024MB, like it is on my V5R1 machine.  You
seem to be missing about 10MB.  But this actually looks like what the
tech was saying; the system snagged a few MB to make sure your machine
doesn't go belly up.  In my case, 148MB are missing, and that's a lot of
missing MB.
