Hi,

I am trying to get the audit journal entries from the system and dump into a
DB2 table. For this purpose I'm using RCVJRNE command and an exit function.
Until now everything seemed to be working fine, that is, my program could
receive journal entries from the system and write into the table. Recently,
there was a system reboot and the journal sequence number was reset by the
system. Now when I check the DB2 table where I store the entries, I find that
there are multiple entries with the same sequence number and also the program
just stops without any error message. What could be the problem and any
pointers to solutions?

My CL program is of the form:

RCVL:

    RCVJRNE JRN(QSYS/QAUDJRN) EXITPGM(xxx) +

       RCVRNG (*CURCHAIN) FROMENT(&JRNSEQNUM) + TOENT(*NONE)

       ENTFMT(*JRNENTFMT) + JRNENTFMT(RJNE0200)

    MONMSG MSGID(CPF7054) EXEC(DO)

    RCVMSG MSGTYPE(*EXCP) RMV(*YES)

    RTVJRNE JRN(QSYS/QAUDJRN) + FILE(*ALLFILE) +

       RCVRNG(*CURRENT) + FROMENT(*LAST) +

       RTNSEQNBR(&JRNSEQNUM)

    GOTO CMDLBL(RCVL)

    ENDDO

It seems like the system is giving the same entries to the exit function
repeatedly. I am stuck here. Please help.

Thanks and Regards,

P.Prasad
