Yeah, At my last job we had a Cybernetics AIT-3 dual drive that worked like that. Made two copies at one time. One copy was sent offsite with Iron Mountain, the other was kept on site in a Schwab Media Safe. AFAIK, every 3rd party tape device offers a model with similar capabilities. I highly recommend 3rd party tape for just that reason. Simply so much more capabilities than with IBM tape. At my current employer, we've got an old 3570 dual library. So I have to use DUPTAP to create copies of the Save 21 tapes.
