Many have moved from parallel port to USB.  Smaller and more modern.
Parallel ports will probably start to disappear from desktop PCs in a
few years, with USB being the latest standard for attaching peripherals.
If any of you use a security token (USB or other), that's just another
kind of dongle.

Seagull's developer tools (Jwalk, etc.) still use a parallel port
dongle.
