Hi All,

Is there an easy way to increase a field width on a PF without having to
delete all the LFs associated and recompile all PFs and LFs? I have a
field that needs to be increased from four to six characters (which is
conveniently in the middle of the DDS), but from what I understand, I
need to either delete all associated PFs and LFs and recompile
everything or set the compile to LVLCHK(*NO) and hope something doesn't
blow up.

This table contains data that I cannot lose, so can someone suggest the
best way to handle this situation?

Thanks!

Brian.
