Does the Windows ID and password match the iSeries ID and password? Especially case, mixed case windows passwords will mess this up. Another thing I have seen on WIN XP is that in some cases the sign-on box will have a qualified user profile (i.e. domain/usrprf) filled in. In this case we have had to remove the domain before signing on to the mapped drive.
