Despite your confusion, Trevor, even though Mr. Jones carefully worded his statement to attempt to avoid direct confrontation, he made several references to comments found ONLY in my posting and thus directly targeted me as the person in question. The only other statement in the thread REMOTELY close to his allegations was James Lampert's comment that [quote] "Stellar Debris" is an appropriate name for a spamming service [unquote]. Every other one of his rebuttals was specifically directed at comments I had made, such as the terms web marketing and calling the Houston Chronicle a mock newspaper. Thus, he was directly targeting me. He then went on to use the word slander, which was thus accusing ME of slander. You may find such things appropriate, I do not. As to comparing his actions to those of the other parties, they each contacted me in private concerning my posting, and as you'll note, neither one attacked me personally. In any case, I believe my statements were clear and my position stands. Thank you for your opinion. Joe > From: Trevor Perry > > Joe, > > Mr Jones did not specifically mention you. And James ~did~ call Stellar a > spamming service. I think you were a little harsh on him when he was > simply protecting his own interests - same thing as iTera and Asymex. > > I think his email was appropriate.
