Hi Folks,

Was wondering if anyone is connecting IBM 4230 printers to the iSeries via
Ethernet/TCP/IP. I got an email about a device to allow this. It is the I-O
LAN RPC Ethernet Twinax Coax IPDS. The verbiage says:

"Once connected through an I-O LAN RPC an IPDS twinax or IPDS coax system
printer can be addressed via TCP/IP from an IBM AS/400 or 3270-type
mainframe. The attached printer can be a laser, dot-matrix or line printer.
The I-O LAN RPC will reliably communicate the IPDS data received over the
TCP/IP Ethernet link to the attached twinax or coax cable."

It is a little pricy.

Thanks !

Chuck
