I made both machines configs the same as Eddie. No joy on the 4.5 box. I'll be calling IBM in the AM Paul Nelson Arbor Solutions, Inc. 708-670-6978 Cell pnelson@xxxxxxxxxx Larry Bolhuis <lbolhuis@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 05/07/2005 07:20 PM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc: Subject: Re: SNDDST & SMTP Config on V4R5 Paul, Do you have something for the userID and Address in CHGDSTA? There needs to be a userid and Address in there. Also in WIRKDIRE that user must have: Mail service level . . : System message store Preferred address . . . : NETUSRID *IBM Address type . . . . : ATCONTXT If that's not set there will be nothing moving from SNDDST to SMTP. Also make sure that the server has DNS available. You can't do NSLOOKUP on a V4R5 box but you can do PING at least to make sure that DNS lookups are working. Ping some outside addresses like www.frankenseries.com to make sure internet addresses are resolvable. - Larry pnelson@xxxxxxxxxx wrote: >Port 25 is listening, and QSNADS is started.
