Ganesh -

There is an API (QCDRCMDD) that you can call that will retrieve most everything about a command as an XML document and put it into either a receiver variable or a file in the IFS. There was an example published on the iSeries network a few years ago, you can probably find it with a Google search.

Subject: Command Parameter Default Value

Is it possible to retrieve the default value of a command parameter? If is there is one such API or CL command, that would be really useful to me.

TIA,
Ganesh
