you can use a hexadecimal field at start of the message text... set bits on/off 
to change the color of the message.

Messages for signon errors are displayed in white but if users signing 
on via a browser have their background colour as white, then the 
messages are not seen and user profiles can get disabled.   Is there a 
way of changing the colour of the message line?  I have searched but 
cannot find one for the whole message line.  I use my own QDSIGNON 
displaye file.
