As others have pointed out use RANGE(start end). I only wonder what you will do with this LF after 01/31/2006: change it and recompile? You can make field IHDINVDATE (and the other restrictions) part of a key, then SETLL and READE (or CHAIN) in the programme; it is more flexible in the near future. Other options are embedded SQL (dynamin) or OPNQRYF with an OVRDBF. in short: hard coding ranges should be treated with care. Just my two Eurocents.
