Did you verify that it was not set to D IPL? It should be A-N or (preferably) B-N. Also make sure that there isn't a cd in the CD-ROM. Had a friend call and a software development company he used to work for had called him. They had taken a 250 out of storage (and it had been moved to several different buildings and floors) and fired it up and got B 1014507. I searched around on IBM's web site and found some information and I went over there today. I made sure there was no tape in the tape drive and that the IPL mode was set to normal and IPL'd and got the same thing. I powered down and removed the cover and made sure that everything was seated good (since it had been moved) and fired it back up and got the SAME thing. It is off of maintenance and has been in storage for 3 or 4 years. Any ideas on what's going on ? Thanks ! Chuck
