Hi Jon,

At some recent point we lost the ability to delete the files and folders located in the QDLS library using Explorer in windows. We receive a "Cannot delete filename: It is being used by another person or program." The files can be deleted using Ops Navigator or a 5250 screen. The files and folders in the QOpenSys library can be deleted using Explorer.

I'm assuming that this error came about when you upgraded your Windows computer with using Windows Update. There's a particular change that Microsoft made to Windows that breaks backward compatibility with some filesystems, including the /QDLS filesystem of OS/400.


IBM issued a PTF to work around the problem.
