I went to a ton of good sessions at Common in Chicago last month that dealt with IBM's very impressive SSO/EIM framework (hats off to Pat Botz, Thomas Barlen, and John Taylor) and am now starting to sketch out how we might go about putting a solution into place. One thing I learned from the sessions was that Lotus Notes doesn't directly integrate with SSO/EIM, but that the password on the Notes ID file can be tied to the Windows login via the "Login to Notes using your operating system login" feature. This would be an acceptable approach, even though it's somewhat of a workaround (i've been using it on my PC for a while, anyway). Today, while investigating the "Login to Notes using your operating system login" feature within a Citrix/Terminal Server environment, I found from Lotus support that this feature isn't supported in a Citrix/TS environment. It's an enhancement request, but doesn't have any implementation date at this point (so I won't hold my breath on it...) This immediately puts a big damper on whether we will even pursue the solution now (Notes is one of our 2 or 3 major apps). I'm looking for any thoughts on the situation and to see if anyone has a similar situation... to me, it seems like a major sticking point that IBM/Lotus should be able to resolve. Thanks in advance...
