IIRC the printers are varied on before this but when the writer for a printer won't start (because TCP/IP hasn't fully started yet) QWCSWTRS varies off the printer. So throw a DLYJOB command just before QWCSWTRS. I've sometimes been successful just rearranging the commands in the STRUP; moving the STRTCPSVR command up and the QWCSWTRS call down. The only printer related calls in my startup program is one to QWCSWTRS. I was under the impression that this simply started the writers; the printers had to already be varied on. Does QWCSWTRS also handle varying on the printers?
