A 270 is supported through V5R3 at least, according to the upgrade
planning statement it will also be supported at "the release after
V5R3."

subject: Status of model 270

Hi midrangers,

I've been asked to take on a model 270, but I was under the impression
that they are not supported by IBM any longer. Is this true?

What is the newest version of the OS they support?

Thanks.
