This is really in response to later posts.

Just tried a couple things - found a way to apply an index to a PF that was in an LF, assuming there was no key on the PF originally. And not using CHGPF.

1, ADDPFCST using the key of the unique LF
2. RMVPFCST and take the 'K' response - to keep the key. Now the PF is keyed and has no primary key.

aren't usually refering to a "real" SQL DDL primary key constraint, but
either a logical file's or the physical file's key specification that
they consider to be primary.
