"Keylock" is a generic term. On old systems it was a real key, on others it is an electronic 'key', and others don't have one at all.


All they mean is to perform a manual IPL however that is done on the system you have.

For a 170 use the black Up button to select option 02-Select IPL, then press the blue Enter button, then press the black up button until it shows BM, press Enter again. Then do your IPL.

I can't remember if the system returns to BN after IPL or not but you can use the same method described above or the CHGIPLA command to set it back to BN.

Your append shows you run off the A side. You should normally be running off the B side because that is where your temporary LIC PTFs are installed.
