Hi!

Perhaps this:

Operations Navigator V5R1 Service Tools Interface
In order to use the Service tools portion of Operations Navigator you must have
all of the following:
A user id and password for DST
added the Service Tools Interface to the TCP/IP service table (See command
below)
Restarted TCP/IP
Validated that there is a lister on port 3000 with NETSTAT *CNN.
If you get the message "No Service Tools Interface found at address (iSeries
system)" then you have not complete all the steps above *OR* TCP port 3000 is
blocked between your Windoze worstation and your iSeries system. To add the
service table entry, use this command:
ADDSRVTBLE SERVICE('as-sts') PORT(3000) PROTOCOL('tcp') ALIAS('AS-STS')

Hi,

Our security folks want to know what server is listening to port 3000 on our
iSeries box (i5/OS)

When I do option 8 'Display jobs', I do not get the jobs screen but the tasks
screen, the task EAOPFMK TSTACK-D is there listed.

Greetings, Herbert
