dial in with PPP to iSeries -- MIDRANGE-L

We've dialed in without trouble for 4 years or more.  Sometimes we have to
make the line say "ringw" and we have sometimes used STRHOSTSVR *ALL.

One or the other of those has always worked,  today it isn't,  Any
suggestions?
