Yes right after the install of the new OS was done. The problem got so bad yesterday we had to do an emergency ipl. Right now IBM is analyziing the dump we created. Hopefully they will figure out what happened and how to prevent it in the future.

Subject: V5R3 serious problem

We upgraded this weekend to 5.3 and the install went fine. Where I
started to notices problems was when the Go Save 21 failed due to a
damaged TAP01 object. I ran a Rclstg and then a full system save. All
was fine on Sunday. This morning I have jobs that will enter the jobq,
process correctly and go into an EOJ status. But they never end!

Has anyone seen this?
