Greg, We use Perle 494e's and they have an Ethernet card in them and the IP address is set via the configuration program. Then on the AS/400-iSeries you have corresponding information and that too contains the IP address. Do a cfgtcp and then take 10. Work with TCP/IP host table entries you should see some information in the Host Name data that corresponds to the remote controller and then you will know the IP address. I can not find this info when I look at the controller's description or anywhere else. I'm not even sure that they have IP addresses. Perhaps they work with MAC addresses.
