Under the Printer Details section, check that the code levels on both printers are the same. Looking at Configuration Page from an Infoprint 40, there are code levels for CTL (controller microcode), PCL (HP PCL), PS (PostScript), EN (ethernet?), TX (Twinax controller), and IPDS. Your tech should have made sure that your printers are on a current code level, but you might want to double check. The issue came up because we have two Infoprint 70 printers that the IBM tech. came out and update the driver information on them. On one of the printer we have a display that it's printing, the system says it printing, but nothing is coming out. IBM has changed the board in the printer and several other thing to correct the problem. Now they are saying that we need to update our PTF'S. My question to them is if this is true, why we don't have this problem on the other printer? -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
