I also recall that the upgrade may affect PDM/SEU/ISDB. I've tried searching
the archives with no meaningful results. 
Does anyone know anything about this, or am I suffering from mailing list
information overload?

In general, what kinds of issues will I run into in a v4r5 to v5r3 upgrade?
I'm especially concerned about our applications, developed in-house (RPG
III/400).
