Hi folks - I need to write a program to process incoming data from a tradnig partner. I'm sending them some data, they're processing stuff, and then they will send me data in the format: http://mysite.com?AB=blah&CD=blah... I need to write the code to handle this incoming data and write it to a file. And of course there's a twist...the initial deployment is on Win2K with a later (hopefully) move to iSeries. This precludes using RPG and/or CGIDEV type stuff. I will need to write the CGI program in C or Java to maximize the portability. The web server will be Apache (well...IBM HTTP Server on Win2K and pbA on iSeries), so that configuration would be similiar. Any thoughts on language choice? Anyone have any examples of CGI processing code? Anyone have any examples of the Apache config to process this? All help is appreciated, and will be amply rewarded with a cup of coffee at Tim Horton's in Toronto during COMMON. Or, if you don't mind alternative music, I'll buy you a Molson's in the evening. :) TIA... - Michael
