Here is something I found with a google search for SQL 42704. A CONTINUE HANDLER ensures that the SQL procedure will continue if it detects SQLSTATE 42704 ("undefined object name"), which DB2 returns from the DROP statement if the table does not exist. found at: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/db2v8luw/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.db2.udb.doc/ad/c0009170.htm There were many other results from this search.
